GEORGIA RAY, a graduate of Wellesley College, made an important contribution to historic preservation in Minnesota when she worked to save the endangered Federal Courts Building in St. Paul, Minnesota, now known as the Landmark Center. As a historian and writer, she has spent much of the last decade on the life of Grace Flandrau. Her first book, Memoirs of Grace Flandrau, from Knochalou Beg Press, has been called "spellbinding", "delicate", "full of insight and style."
